Akademika is located on Michigan Avenue, a prime location in Urbana with beautiful houses, cobblestone streets, and trees. Within a family neighborhood, Akademika offers amenities and a close location to campus, just one block from the southeast section of campus and a few minutes walking distance from the Main Quad and the Assembly Hall.
The States Streets neighborhood is the "university ghetto" of Urbana, populated mostly by university professors. This historical, quiet, safe and beautiful residential area with beautiful houses, cobblestone streets, and trees. Great for jogging!
